The 12-volt battery says it's been converted, for sure. For a garage queen that will see mostly shows, I'd work towards getting it all back to 6 volts. Other than poor road lighting, there was never anything wrong with the many 6-volt cars I had over the years.

Besides, 6-volt parts are a dime a dozen on eBay!

If anyone wants me to go pick this up for them, I can get a trailer. It's not all that far from here. Besides, my neighbors would go right through the overhead if I showed up with just one more project!
