Foot Dimmer Switch 444-544

Tony,
This is another stab in the dark. Never having owned one, I'm not familiar with the PV444 turn signal control set-up, but if you have a stalk on the left of your steering column, it may be like the 544 and have a dimmer/flasher controll wire attached to the center terminal/contact. That wire (gray) shows up as going to nowhere toward the end of the wiring harness near the steering sector box. For the rest of the story go to http://www.intelab.com/swem/122flasher.htm. If that works for you, send Ron Kwas a nice thank you note. If it doesn't, chalk up another bum steer for me, but give me credit for trying. ;-)
