Engine knock 700

Hello Chris,

I've had a very sharp pecking in the top of the 765 B230FT since it was resurrected last year. I've attributed it to piston slap, but it certainly sounds like a partial valve spring break. Reading that it could be a spring puts me in mind to pull the valve cover and check. The funny thing is that there is a point during warm up when it just becomes very subdued as if the oil was getting to the piston skirt.

Regards,
