How clean is clean? 200 1991

Bruce is, as usual, spot-on with that - my 780 was hard starting or not starting some mornings and I attributed it to the old Honda battery I had stuck in it a while back. But when I put a fresh battery in the same problem persisted, and my girlfriend put me to shame by pointing out the traces of corrosion on the inside of the clamps and quietly suggesting that I clean them... as I'd suggested she do to her car a while back. Of course, it worked fine once I did and I've never heard the end of it.
