Run rough then stalling problem.. 700 1991

Yeah, the fuel supply is good. The FPR, Fuel filter and fuel pump are all less than a year old.
It seems to be temp related. Starts normal, but if I rev it and let it idle untill the engine temp gauge moves about 1/4, then it starts to stumble like crazy then stall. I checked the temp gauge resistance (under intake #3) and got zero from both spades, which doesnt seem right to me. Also, when the temp guage is disconected, it does the same thing after a few minutes of running. ?
