Exhaust Options for a 220 Wagon 120-130

Hola,
I've got a 1967 220 wagon and am looking to replace the current exhaust system which is full of holes and is almost completely rusted out. I've seen that I can buy a complete stock system from Skandix cheaply, but I would prefer to upgrade to a larger bore "sport" system. I have not seen any kits for doing so in a wagon, so would building my own system sound like a feasible idea for a person with moderate mechanical skills or have a desirable outcome? Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!
Will Hawkins
