Cargo cover installation in 1997 965

Do you have a 700 or 900 wagon with a cargo cover?

I think I have all the required bolts and brackets, and the cover of course, to install a cover from a 745 into my 965.

Got an exploded view from the dealer parts computer, and it shows the mounting brackets going into the rear side of the "C" pillar horizontally. Seems odd. Also makes me wonder if there would be any conflict with the seat belts for the third row seat.

So now I am unsure of just where/how they anchor. Gotta be a strong place since the wind-up spring in the cargo cover seems pretty strong.

The clips to hold the cover in place at the rear are an easy job, no Qs there.

Can you send along any idea of how those brackets mount? A picture would be great, but I know that now everyone can do that.

Thank you for your assistance and advice.

Bob
