Att: Fellow NJ Brickboarders - NJ Inspection Next Month 200

Hello all and specifically NJ Brickboarders. I have to have my '86 DL manual shift sedan inspected in January. Will probably go to DMV in Eatontown as that is one closest to me. Or should I go to a private garage ? I have removed the heater hose that goes from exhaust manifold to air cleaner(seems everyone has). Will they visually check if it is there ? If so guess I should put one back there. Also I am worryed about passing emmissions. They would use 1986 standards ? Any tips/hints/advice about that ? This car is in fine fine shape(due largeley to all the great help recieved here at Brickboard)so I know all major stuff is fine(tires/lights, brakes, etc., etc.)but nonetheless I always get a wee bit concerned come inspection time. Thank goodness NJ inspections are good for 2X years. Thanks in advance.
