ECU Pin Numbers? 700

90 760 T Sedan 225,000 miles

While troubleshooting the condition of my ECT......I read in the FAQ that you should check voltage and resistance across pins 13 and 5 on the ECU......QUESTION: How do you know which pins are 13 and 5 (or any pin number for that matter? When I pull the harness, I just see two rows of pins.....)

ALSO: Which sensor is the ECT? There is one under intake runner #2 that has a grey connector (I think this might be the gauge sensor) and then apparently another sensor under intake runner #3?!? If that one is the ECT, how on earth do I get to it without removing the entire intake manifold?!? Many thanks in advance!

PS: STILL chasing a no start condition......plugs are sparking but wet when removed and strong smell of gasoline.....main pump and prepump working but unsure of condition.....fuel suppression relay is working.....NO FAULT CODES...ANY IDEAS?!?!? The car almost starts....and occasionally (a couple of days ago on two consecutive nights) started and idled for 15-16 minutes and then shut down.....has NOT started in two days however. Temps in the 20's-40's F here.... any help greatly appreciated......
