Firing on two cylinders 140-160 1973

I just rechecked.

At TDC, with the No. 1 rockers (closest to the fan) moving and play in the No. 4 rockers (closest to the firewall) the rotor points at the No. 4 wire. The points are open. This is as it should be, right?

The ignition wires are on in the right order.

When the engine is running, the timing light shows the timing steady at 15 BTDC.

I keep thinking I've done something classically stupid, but I've checked and rechecked.

Waauugh!

Steve M.
