Getting ready to buy a 740 gl 700

I am getting ready to look at a 1990 740gl for 600 dollars. Says the car runs good has a rebuilt motor, new battery and timing belt. Car is in good condition just needs a tuneup. Has been driven 2 times a week for the past 6 months. Always starts fine and runs good. Is this a good deal. I am going to go look at the car this weekend. I am able to handel small repairs. What should I be looking out for. This sounds like a good deal to me. Thanks in advance.
