machining front timing cover for new seal 120-130

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what dimensions you need to machine the front timing cover to for the new style seal (replacing the old felt style). I started collecting parts to do some work to my 66 122s (timing gear set, rear bushing kit, braided brake lines, tune-up kit).

I have been thinking about pulling the head on it too. It makes a weird poof-poof-poof type sound thru the exhaust at idle. Does that sound like a burnt valve or recessed seat??
