I have owned them all since 85-that being a 240 GL sedan-740 -87 after that for my wife-92 model 940 turbo later and now the 97-960. Every durn one of them are still on the road doing what they are best at -adding miles. I didn't buy them because thay are the safest cars on the road-they have longivity, thay last and last. If Volvo still built rear wheel drive cars I would buy another in a heart beat--you must have had a front wheel car(giving you the credit you don't really know where you are)if your an engineer and a good indy as well, I would agree that the front wheel cars aren't much-but if your really pointing fingers at probally the best cars for the money that were ever produced, it's like Groucho said -it looks like and idiot,sounds like an idiot, but brother you don't relize, your really an idiot.
