B18 Compression Test Results. 120-130

Hello All,

I just wanted to pass along my compression test results for the Canuck's B18. I got 140 psi (all values hot) on cylinders 1 and 4, cylinder 2 was 110 psi and 3 was 120 psi. I added some oil and the values all went up 140's went to 170 and the others managed about another 10 psi. I'm thinking warn rings (which would account for my oil consumption and lack luster performance). Damn thing runs like a top and still gets 25 mpg.

Since this means a rebore most likely, I'm thinking about just doing a B20 build and swaping them over (I already have a dual down pipe exhaust manifold and the aluminum intake with SU's).

Merry Christmas

Craig
