Tranny swap '87 240 AT for a manual 200 1987

I recently bought an '87 240 dl wagon. I don't buy automatics, in fact I've never owned one, but the price was so good that I couldn't pass it up.

I did some searching in the archives on swapping an auto for a manual and found a bit of info on doing it in 90's 700's, but nothing about a pre '89 240.

Are there any parts common to both types that need to be swapped? For example, the 700's seem to need a drive shaft from a manual, is this true for my car? Is there anything like that going on with any other part?

Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.

There's nothin' wrong with this tranny so if someone wants to swap maybe we can work something out.

Sometimes you just need to do something because it would be fun.

Thanks
Will-
