Steering/brakes problem 140-160 1972

Guess I could have been clearer.
I didn't mean it would only do it when braking. Could do it anytime but is sometimes more noticable when braking.

Had a 122 with a bad tie rod end and it would stop straight and go down the road straight, but just at the instant I stepped on the brake, the steering wheel would jerk slightly...not enough to pull into another lane.

Still wouldn't be a bad idea to check the components.
