Best Christmas Gift: My '64 122 brought back to life (kind of) 120-130

My wife gave me a great Christmas gift.

She took photos of my long-since-rusted-away red 122 sedan, along with photos of nicely restored Volvos, and had artist Madison Smith paint it in its former glory. Since I know many of you think of your cars as more than just cars, I thought you might enjoy a look.

A ton of memories flooded back to me. This was the car I learned to drive in. I got it when I was 16 and drove it until it rusted out. A lot of high school and college memories include that car.

I bought another 122 (this one is a 1963) last year and am slowly getting it to where I want it. I have pledged to drive it and treat it much nicer than my old red bomb.
