brake line leaking at MC . 700 1985

I just replaced my MC with a rebuilt ATE ( same as was in there ) I've had horrible luck with re-threading the metal brake lines ..... After bench bleeding i had a tough time putting in the last line lost quart of fluid while trying to thread it in. finally gane up and next morning took them all out and startd with the one I couldn't get in ...low and behold it goes in.

All lines now are attached and re bleed MC and whole system. Brakes are working ok .... so I think. I recheck and notice fluid loss.....one of the bottom lines is leaking.

I took it off trying to re-thread it tighter. It now won't go back on.

Is there a trick .....any kind of seal to fix this problem?

Can a shop cut the line put a new fitting and do a new flare on the end?

It's a long line that goes all the way across the frame and probably to the back of the car. It doesn't look like it goes to the line junction thing under MC
