B30 Engine done. '75 164E. Looking for suggestions. 140-160

The engine is done in my '75 164E.
I'm in San Mateo, CA.
The car looks good, I just replaced most of the front end, all the bushings, ball joints, tie rods, ends, shocks ($1,100).
And then the following week while on my way home from Christmas shopping, appearently a rod let loose, all hell broke loose inside there and boom, all locked up. I actually coasted into my driveway.
I'm switching over to my '88 245GL for now.
My dillemna is what to do with my '75. I don't have any contacts here, I wouldn't know where to go, should I get the engine rebuilt, find another engine, what other engines (years will work), what other options are there?

I was told by a stranger to call Volvo George in Alameda, that's all I've heard so far.
Thanks in advance...
- Bryan
I would attach a photo, but I don't know how.
