Crosspost to classified ad 1800 1971

For my sad old 1800E. Buying my spiffy 245 Turbo wagon has put me over the marital car limit in the driveway, so this old thing needs to go. I either planned on doing some really quick bodywork and a cheap paint job and driving it as is, or using the guts for a solid 122, PV, or Duett. But I no longer have the room for it. Runs well, but for tired tires and coolant hoses I'd probably drive it cross country. But I'd discourage anyone from using it as anything other than a parts car. Where 1800's rust, this one has it. Years of winter driving (it was my only car for a long while) on salty roads around here ate it alive, despite lots of washings in an attempt to remove the salt.

More pics if needed, but really, you aren't going to find a 'good' side to it. The solid front fender got crushed, the straight front fender has a rotted seam where it was replaced, and a shot inner fender. Both sills are bad, both jacking crossmembers, floorboards have holes. I recently welded some metal up front as the bumper mounts were going, but so far the idler arm and steering box have solid metal to attach to.

Runs well, only issue currently is a bit of seepage fromt he valve cover. Recent exhaust from the downpipe to the tailpipe (2 inch, generic custom jobby). New rear calipers and flex lines all around about 2 years ago. Clutch at 80K miles, 119K now. Transmission works fine (M41).
