Many thanks to you fellow bricksters for responding to my numerous posts..just to recap what I have done in the last two days... ..timing belt change..the only snafu was getting the belt /tension pully back together..the rope trick worked like a charm to loosen and tighten the crank pulley bolt!!, water pump change..it was difficult to get the red metal tube back into the smaller hole but succeeded by putting the rubber seal on the tube as opposed to putting it into the hole and trying to get the tube in.... crank seal, all belts ..both radiator hoses, a new heavy duty all metal radiator..new tension pulley,new crankshaft pulley..new tranny mount..new tranny filter and pan gasket. New tranny fluid.approx 12 qts used before it ran clean!!!..cleaned throttle body ..cleaned distributor cap..quite alot I did eh!!! Just one more thing to fix the heater valve which I will make a new post..Thanks for reading ..wishing you all a happy new year...Paul R.
