What's after the 240

A 31K 240 out of Florida recently brought almost $11,000 on eBay. Perhaps the one you saw on the lot was a low mileage creampuff and they thought somoeone would go for it.

While there are obviously fewer 240's available as time goes on I think there are still a lot of nice ones that can be had for less than $3000. If you live in the rust belt it is worth the investment of time and money to travel to an area that is known for rust free cars.

740's and 940's from the 90-95 models are very nice cars and there are still nice ones available. Actually I am convinced that any rear wheel drive Volvo from 88 to 95 with a b230f or b230ft engine is worth a second or third look.

Like retirement property it never hurts to invest in a nice Volvo before you need it.
