940 SE Wagon Turbo update

I found out today that the twelve point nut on the end of the input shaft of the Garrett T25 is not 10mm but an 8mm. The shaft will turn but certainly not spin.
Hopefully the changeout will take place tomorrow. I have the turbo from from 940SE sedan to install. While I have the nuts off between the turbo and the exhaust manifold, I haven't been able to get the two apart. How big a problem is this to get the two apart? I understand there isn't a gasket between the turbo and manifold. Would it be better to change out the exhaust manifold with the turbo attached? Also is there any problem reusing the copper rings from the water and oil lines banjo fittings. I will try and get new ones but the dealer may not have them in stock.

Any advice on this would be appreciated.
