Rear wiper linkage and motor 900 1994

Great forum. Used numerous links to get to my rear wiper motor.
I thought it was burned out(rear motor) but after taking the nut off the motor and removing the linkage arm, the motor turned. Sounded normal. I then tried it with the arm back on and no movement...not even a sound. Fuse is still good. The linkage arm rotating points are lubricated..but linkage arm seems to hit the attached wiper mount as the arm goes through its revolution. Very perplexing. When everything is connected, the arm doesn't seem to have enough free movement to get through one revolution of the motor.
Don't know if the motor has enough juice and/or if the problem is the arm.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Jerry
