Sorry to hear about your experience with IPD and nissens radiator. I put one on my 240 from IPD and it fit fine. Maybe you got a bad one? I'm disappointed in IPD's service from what you're telling us about how they responded to the problem. I'm very patient until a certain point, but when things don't fit right I get very upset. Yes, those radiator hoses can be trimmed down a bit. The ones they sent me for the 240 were OK, but I'll use OE Volvo hoses in the future. Use OE parts whenever possible. Good luck with yours.
