Outside Temperature gauge 900 1996

Hi,

I'm fitting an outside temperature gauge to my '96 model 940 Wagon. I have a mismatch on the wiring in the dash. Being a post 93 the car is prewired, according to the box I have the right kit. However the car has a 6 wire white plug, with a Blue, white, Orange, Green/Yellow, Black and Red/Green wiring.

The gauge has 3 plugs, a two pin with a Green, and Green/White. And a second branch with Black, Brown/Black, Orange and Yellow/white, This branches to a male and a female plug. Anyone know what goes to what?

Regards

Pete
