Doh! Brakelights are gone now

Great information, thx Bob. If my 740 does take that route, I'm still perplexed.

-Battery = Fine. Everything works except the brake lights.
-Fuse = Fine. Continuity across terminals.
-Brakelight switch = Unknown. Bypassed switch and joined wires via paperclip.
-Bulb Failure relay = Appears to be fine. It correctly displays when I remove various head, tail, indicator bulbs. Does not react at all to removal of brake bulbs.
-Brake bulbs = Fine. Tested and light w/out issue.
-Ground = Fine. Other lights on chassis appear to share common ground.

Is the BFWS relay you speak of the same as the round, reddish Bulb Out relay located in the upper left of the relay tray behind the fuses? As per this page?

If they ARE the same, I dont know how it could be broken for the brake lights and not for the other lights. If it's not the same, where can one find the BFWS relay you speak of?
