Transmission compatable 83 244 and 87 245? 200

That is what I have always used. I do have one of Harbor Freights transmission jacks. Not a high quality piece of equipment but certainly better than rigging a floor jack for the job.

With jack stands there is not enough room to leave the transmission on the transmission jack and wheel it under the car. I solve that problem by getting the transmission and the jack into the tunnel area under the car and then putting the transmission on the jack.
