Bendix Calipers??? 200 1979

Nope I am not sure, they are the quad piston kind. The car brakes very well but very Un-confidently so because of the warning right in front of me saying that THE BRAKES ARE MESSED UP. I've run a seperate wire from the switch down there because i've ben acoustomed to bad wire harness in my other volvos and there is continuity from the switch so is there a change the switch is bad? given that the car brakes fine! or am i asking for trouble by thinking so,
I do not drive the car as i am in the process of bringing this one back to life and it is parked most of the time. my daily driver is a 87 745Ti love it.
