’93 940 turbo-wont start fuel systems problems 900 1993

Problem started with fuel pump fuses blowing, so I pulled the relay and resoldered, which fixed the problem for half a day, until the car blew another fuse and would not start after fuse was replaced. After a tow home, I replaced the Fuel pump and the relay. But still will not start. It will crank over and sometimes start for a second, puffing black smoke then die.

I put the old fuel relay back in, without the cover on, and held open the relay closest to the passenger compartment with a bit of cardboard, and the engine would start, and run very rough, still puffing black smoke, but not as much.

Seems to be getting way too much fuel??

I have
checked for codes-none
Checked FPR-seems OK
Disconnected MAF-no change
Disconnected O2- No change
Checked for air leaks, cracked hoses ect
Checked radio suppression relay-seems ok
Cleaned plugs-no change

Any ideas? Help!
