I'm replacing rear calipers on my 85 740 gle non turbo non abs.

i currently have the 38 mm piston version of the ate style brakes.

Is there any problem upgrading to the 40 mm pistons?

Calipers mount the same etc? Rotors are the same size ?

Reasons not to ?
