Service Light 700 1988

If it's like the '90s and '91s there is a small hole near the bottom center of the plastic panel over your instrument cluster. There may be a black, rubber plug in the hole. When the car is running, remove the plug and poke through the hole with a ballpoint pen or similar item to depress the small button beneath the hole. This will turn off the service light for another x miles (I don't know what x is since I don't follow the light's schedule). The procedure to change your oil and filter takes only slightly longer than this one.
