No challenge... 120-130

I can't believe I'm catching you out, George.

The big tube on the firewall is for the fresh air plenum. The heater drain is at the bottom of the distribution plenum and is quite hard to spot (it is in the car but for about 1-inch!).

If the little hose (like 6mm?) gets plugged (go figure, eh?) water can accumulate in the distribution plenum and leak into the cabin via the defroster/rear cabin manifold.

But yeah, if it were leaking it most certainly wouldn't be from the dashboard.

My particular experience is a very obvious crack at the bottom of the gasket where it separated years back in the Nevada sun... rather messy in a storm.
