1996 960 vs. 1998 s90 900

I am considering one of these two vehicles, very soon. I have a '90 740 GL.

Outside, and visually inside the engine, I don't see any difference between the 1996 96, and 1998 S90.

You pros can tell me. 960 has 105K, the s90 has 115K.

The only reason I wondered if there were diffences is because in '97, they sold both. I only assumed the s90 was a summer '97 -summer '98, and 960 stopped selling in spring '97.

Can anyone help me understand the differences, and if my theory of '97 is correct. I went to the dealers in the DFW area, and it seems none were salesman for Volvo when these models were new. It really seems like, they don't want me to talk to them without desiring the FWD's. They are putting alot of faith in them.

My only other reason for thinking of a difference is they are in two diffent forums here.
