This wrench sounds like yours, with the addition of a flexible wrist that allows the shaft to pivot up to a right angle. Most handy.

I went at most of those top-mount bolts from above with the new wrench. I had a tough time from underneath, mainly because I didn't have the car up very high to begin with, and because the floor jack on the engine was in my wiggle room.

The clearances on the driver's side were a lot tighter than on the passenger side (with the exception of bolt No. 1 forward of the oil filter).

I also found that the refurbished mount assembly went in much more easily on the passenger side, though I might have lucked out finding the sweet spot with the jack. The driver's side took a little crowbar action to get the lower mount bolts in their holes. It's never an official auto repair for me until the crowbar comes out.
