1-1-2 fault code in 95 960 900

Which slot did you pull the code 112 from?

A1 = Transmission Solenoid S1 short circuit to battery voltage
A2, A6 = Control Module Fault
A7, Mode 1 = Fuel level sensor short circuited
A7, Mode 6 & Mode 7 = Odometer
B1 = Sun Sensor Signal OK
B2 = Vehicle Speed Signal not permitted
B5 = internal fault in sensor module
B6 = Position Sensor for Motor 1, signal absent or faulty

Since your engine is running rough one must assume it's from Slot A2 or A6 'Fault in ECM'

From the good 'green' book :

"If the ECM detects a fault in memory cicuits ROM/EPROM or RAM when the ignition is on, or if the ECM detects a fault in the knock controlcircuit during driving, DTC 1-1-2 is set"

"Fault Sources"
"Fault in ECM memory circuits, ROM/EPORM or RAM"
"Fault in ECM knock control circuit"

You could always try to clean the connections at the ECM (make sure the battery is disconnected first if you diconnect the cable from the ECM). It can't hurt.

The book basically says to test with a new ECM. There are places on the web that sell 're-conditioned' ECM's or you could get one out of a recycler or.... gasp......go to a dealer.
