How to attach letters to hood of 122? 120-130

Hey all,

I give up. How are you supposed to attach the V O L V O letters to the hood of an Amazon? I took them off when I noticed that the only thing holding them on was luck and am having a devil of a time getting speed nuts to work (there was a single speed nut looking thing on the first V, the rest had nothing). Was it some sort of special clip and not actually a speed nut? Or am I just a victim of a DPO quick fix?

Much too cold out to continue bashing my knuckles trying to get this to work....
