Genuine Volvo part made in Taiwan. 200

"On the '88 it depends on what the local parts place can get me, the car is not going anywhere so I may bite the bullet and get new Girling/Ate Calipers."

Dave,
I was told by a long-time Volvo indy tech years ago that there are no "new" 240 calipers—that even the dealer units are rebuilts (but to much higher standards than Beck-Arnley, et al).

This is borne out by the 1992 Quick Reference parts catalog, where 240 fronts and rears have 500nnnn part numbers, which my friend says means "rebuilt". No 500nnnn numbers at FCP. Maybe elsewhere.

I put OE rear rebuilts on my daughter's '93 last year. They looked really good, and cost $84 each (with VCOA 20% didcount and free shipping) from Beechmont Volvo in Cincinnatti. 5002010 left, 5002011 right. Unloaded, I think. Don't recall if hardware was included.
