Poor gas mileage...resolved

Hi,

I posted here a while back that my 1989 240 was running very rich and rough, and getting about 8 miles per gallon. I finally got it in to see the local Volvo guru, and here was the outcome: fuel pressure regulator and O2 sensor needed.

Fixed, runs like a Swiss watch now.

Thanks to those who answered my original post. This was beyond my expertise. Best part is that the CHECK ENGINE light is now off; it'd been on for about two years.
