brakes pulling weird sometimes 200 1987

Up until recently, my brakes have worked flawlessly, but now on rare occasions, when i step on the break, it pulls the steerng wheel pretty hard, but will go back to normal opperation after releasing the brake. IT seems to me like one wheel is doing all the work when this happens. Visually everything looks just fine, and I don't really know where to begin to troubleshoot this problem. Anybody have any ideas for me?
