Broken head bolt - Me too! 444-544

I have a similar problem; one of the studs holding the intake or exhaust manifold to the engine was broke when I removed the intake/exhaust manifold. The rest of the stud was just hanging in there. So, like a dumb-a$$, I tried to drill a small hole and use an easy-out but it was too small and it snapped flush with the already broken stud. I've since tried drilling again [centered] with a cobalt or titanium bit without much luck. I also bought a diamond-coated grinding/cutting bit for the Dremel which made a little more progress but smoothed over fairly quick. CRAPOLA! The pop-in-law assures me that he can get it out but I'm starting to doubt it. Any other options available?
