AMM Voltage Range 900 1993

I just got a new-to-me 1993 944T with 144,600mi on it and ran some initial diagnostics on it this AM. I followed the AMM test procedure from the FAQ. Resistance between ground (the engine block) and terminal 1 with the engine off was 0, as expected. Voltage between terminal 3 and ground (the block again) with the car running was about 2.45 volts, as opposed to the 2.3 volts as specified. Is this a sign of an AMM going bad or within the normal range?

Thanks all,

Jeff
