no start after installing radio....coincidence? 200 1989

I've put in stereo's in 3 different 240's and never had this problem before. Up until I put in the stereo last night, my 240 ran like a charm (unfortunately I didn't start her after putting in the radio). This morning I go to start the car and get no juice. Dead battery I thought, so I jump it. Engine turns overs but does not start. All fuses intact (by left foot and in engine compartment), pulled #1 spark plug, put to valve cover, crank - no spark. Distributor cap is dry, wires seem OK. So between last night and this morning, here's what has happened:

1) it rained
2) put in new stereo
3) filled gas tank with 12 oz. of G2P (gauranteed 2 pass emissions additive) and 12 gallons of gas.

What has me thinking the most is the fact that the battery was dead, but even after putting in a new battery it doesn't start and has no spark (turns over strong).
