IT RUNS! My great adventure today!!! 120-130

No not my 66' wagon(still no spark) but I bought a 66' 4-door sedan
off of ebay and went and towed it home today. Actually
I went from Maryland down to Virginia, and then towed
it back up to Pennsylvania(right above Baltimore).

The guy didn't have a key so i pulled the ignition switch
from my 67' wagon(yes I now have three 122's) and the battery
before I left on this big adventure.

Well I took out the monkey rigged ingnition that was in
the 66' sedan and hooked up mine, put in the battery and
after a few tries the engine fired right up!!!
I stepped on the brake and it worked too...ha ha ha!
Then I put it in gear(automatic) and to my suprise
the transmission is fine.

Had to take it out on the road so off I went.
It seemed to bog down when I stepped on it(passing gearish) but
when it kicked back in regular, it took off!

Needs some work for sure but it wound up being a pretty good buy!

Here was the auction

Sorry, just had to share my excitement!!!
