dead? 200

As posted, check oil level, and fuel pressure requlator. Finished a 458 mile, same day, trip. Car ran like a top. Stopped to visit a friend, Fifteen minutes later, head out......sputtering, hard to start, no accelerator response, sounded like three of my plug wires went bad. Finally got it running enough to head home. Found it sort of cleared it's throat at higher RPM's (speed). Plugs were white tipped. Replaced plugs, disty cap & rotor. Still ran very rough. Pulled the vac line from fuel pressure regulator......smoothed right out, and idled like it should. Tapped the FPR several times, and all is well. Sooooo, it's worth the try to check out FPR.

Enjoy.
