Recommendation when cleaning throttle body turbo 700

In the FAQ it states:

"Remove the base idle black adjusting knob if so equipped and blow out that passageway and blow out another bypassing passageway that you will see in the throat. Clean out the tiny vacuum holes in the fittings that lead to the vacuum tubes whicht[sic] may be completely plugged.."

On my 1989 745T lh 2.2 the threaded base idle knob did not come out so I needed to remove boss (2 cap screws). I'm glad I did as there was oil in there.

Anyhow, if you don't have compressed air I'd recommend taking this base idle boss off and pouring solvent in to soak. The internal passage is quite small and I imagine oil (from turbo engine) would easily plug.

BTW, another successful idle problem solved via TB cleaning.
