Passenger seat belt warning 200 1992

Hi oh Board of boards.

Question:

My passenger seat (well, actually the belt warning system) doesn't chime and the light doesn't flash when someone's sitting on it without wearing the seatbelt. The driver's side's fine.
I believe the system works with a weight activated device in the passenger seat.

How would I go about at locating and fixing the issue? I 've looked underneath and can't see anything special.

Or am I barking up the wrong tree and I this feature absent in later 240's ?

Thanks in advance!
