Instrument Cluster Problem 200

Until I did this, all guages and lights worked in my instrument cluster worked except the odometer/trip meter.

I removed the instrument cluster and replaced the odometer drive gear in the speedometer guage. I put everything back together as I found it (including the flexi-strip circuit that is held in place by two of the speedo retaining screws) and reconnected all wires just as I had found them. The only thing I did was to remove the check engine and brake failure lights

Now, nothing works in the cluster except the blinkers and high beam indicator. I re-checked all connections and they look fine.

Any ideas? The hook-ups I made are then two gang plugs and two single wires, one orange wire single connector to a two prong U-type connector in the left center of the cluster and the other a red/yellow wire to the far lower right of the cluster.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Walt
