Parking Brake Shoes and Rear Brake Pads 200

Over the weekend I successfully changed out my parking brake shoes and the rear brake pads on my 1992 Volvo 245. The lining came totally off of one of the parking brake shoes, so that is the reason for the repair. While I was at it, I changed out the rear disc brake pads. Overall the repair was easy (I do hate those drum brake springs) and the design of the rear discs and parking brake seems way better than any other vehicle I've ever worked on. Completing this repair is just another example of how easy 240's are to maintain with a few basic tools.
