Hello Karl:

I have not touched the alternator. Virginia has actually been incredibly LOW maintenance for well over a year until November when the timing gear went. Since then, the whole kit-n-kaboodle has been downhill. We are laughing about it back at the ranch but I do need to get some semblance of regular motoring back in our lives.

I have not experienced any troubles before with running too many things. Oddly enough, the fan for the heater stopped working this week too. I wonder if there is a relationship there.
